Cheddar & Herb Quiche

sharp cheddar cheese and fresh herbs, this quiche is both comforting and elegant.
It’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or even a light supper, and it pairs
beautifully with simple sides and good company.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount Notes
Pre-made pie crust 1 9-inch size
Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 cup Sharp cheddar recommended
Milk ½ cup
Heavy cream ½ cup Adds richness
Eggs 3 large Room temperature if possible
Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, thyme) ¼ cup, chopped Mix and match
Salt ½ tsp
Black pepper ¼ tsp Freshly ground preferred
Garlic powder ¼ tsp
Onion powder ¼ tsp

Directions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place a rack in the center
of the oven to ensure even baking.

Step 2: Prepare the Crust

Gently press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, fitting it snugly along the
bottom and sides. Crimp or flute the edges if desired.

Step 3: Add the Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the bottom of the crust.
This helps create a flavorful base and prevents a soggy bottom.

Step 4: Mix the Filling

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, and eggs until
smooth and fully combined.

Stir in the chopped herbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Mix gently to distribute the seasonings evenly.

Step 5: Assemble the Quiche

Carefully pour the egg mixture over the cheese-filled crust, making sure it
spreads evenly.

Step 6: Bake

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top
is lightly golden. The quiche should jiggle slightly in the center but not appear
liquid.

Step 7: Cool & Serve

Remove from the oven and allow the quiche to rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
